To raise $ 40,000 with 100 % participation,

Annual Giving is the yearly gift requested from the entire Portland French School community and from our friends in support of the school year's operations. Tuition alone is not enough. This year, tuition covers 85% of the cost of the educational excellence Portland French School provides your child. The school still needs additional contributions, which are applied to the operating budget.

So why do we have the PFS Annual Fund?

 To keep tuition competive and affordable. Tuition covers only part of the cost of educating our students. The Annual Drive helps keep the tuition at an affordable level.
 To increase PFS' chance of funding from outside resources : Foundations are much more inclined to grant funds to non-profit organizations that have a proven record of strong financial support from their community. PFS' #1 vehicle for participation of financial support is through the Annual Fund: participation is key!
  To support the school as a whole: Gifts to the Annual Fund support this year's financial budget and therefore today's financial needs.
 
Is our gift tax-deductible?
Yes! Portland French School is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, therefore all gifts are fully tax-deductible under applicable IRS regulation.
