PFS STUDENTS SING THE NATIONAL ANTHEMS AT THE WORLD VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

The World League Volleball Qualifying Matches between the United States and France for the next Olympic Games, 2008 in Beijing, China, were held at The Chiles Center at the University of Portland on May 26 and May 27, 2007.
For the internationally televised game on Sunday (16 countries worldwide), The Portland French School was invited to participate in the opening of this game by singing the national anthems of the United States and France. Twelve students from our CM2 Class represented PFS, under the direction of Monsieur Marc Bescond, our music teacher. They were poised, sang beautifully and made all of us at PFS very proud of them and their performance.
